In India, under the scheme PAHAL (DBTL), LPG users who possess Aadhaar card can avail LPG subsidy. Our Prime Minister, Narendra Modi launched the 'Give Up LPG Subsidy campaign through which affordable LPG users can voluntarily give up their LPG subsidy. In order to apply for a new gas connection, you need to possess any one of the following documents for Proof of Identity and Proof of Address.

How to apply for a New Gas Connection in Indane?

Getting new gas connection in Indane is simple with the steps given below.

Step 1: Visit Indanes official portal https://indane.co.in/

Step 2: On the home page, under 'Customer Console, click 'Online services and then click 'New Connection

Step 3: On the next page, click 'Online New Connection SAHAJ (e-SV)

Step 4: You will be redirected to the Indian Oils Customer Portal. Click 'Register to get new connection.

Step 5: Register in the website by entering your name, mobile number and email ID. Click 'Proceed

Step 6: Enter the OTP sent to your mobile number and click 'Verify

Step 7: Create a new password and then click 'Submit.

Step 8: A message upon successful registration will be displayed on the screen. Tap 'Please click here to login link.

Step 9: Login to your account by entering your mobile number/ Email and then click 'Continue.

Step 10: Enter your password and click the recaptcha checkbox. Then tap 'Submit.

Step 11: On the home page, click 'LPG under Overview. To apply for New LPG Connection, click 'Submit KYC.

Step 12: Enter your personal details and other details, upload required documents, and sign the declaration form.

How to book cylinder in Indane Gas?

Indane Online Gas Booking:

Step 1: Visit Indane's Official Portal https://indane.co.in/

Step 2: On the home page, under 'Customer Console, click 'Online services and then click 'Order Refill

Step 3: To book cylinder, tap 'Click to Book'

Step 4: Login to your account by entering your username and password. On the home page, click 'LPG under Overview. Now you can book your cylinder. Once you have booked cylinder, your gas distributor will deliver the cylinder. The status can be tracked in online.

Indane Gas Booking through SMS:

In case you don't have active internet connection, you can easily book cylinder via SMS.

• In order to send SMS, you must register your mobile number through SMS in the format of IOC<Distributor's phone number with STD code> .
• Once you have registered your mobile number, you can send SMS IOC to your area number from your registered mobile number to book cylinder.

Indane Gas Booking through IVRS:

Customers can book Indane cylinders through IVR system.

• In IVRS, customers are provided with the option to choose local language, English and Hindi.
• After selecting the language, enter your distributor's telephone number with STD code.
• Once your distributor has been confirmed, enter your consumer number.
• After that, press 1 for refill booking.
• Upon successful refill booking, a confirmation message will be sent to your registered mobile number.

Applying for a new connection in Bharat gas is easy with the steps given below.

Step 1: Visit Bharatgas' official portal https://my.ebharatgas.com/bharatgas/Home/Index

Step 2: On the home page, click 'Register for LPG Connection'

Step 3: Locate your nearest Bharat gas distributor by selecting your state and district and select the distributor of your area. Then click 'Continue'.

Step 4: Then complete the KYC form by entering your personal details, contact details, other details, bank account details and upload documents. Click the checkbox and enter the captcha code and OTP. Then click 'Submit'.

How to book cylinder in Bharat Gas?

Bharat Gas Booking in Online:

Step 1: Visit Bharatgas' official portal https://my.ebharatgas.com/bharatgas/Home/Index

Step 2: On the home page, click 'Book your Cylinder'

Step 3: On the next page, tap 'Click to Book in Online'

Step 4: In order to book your cylinder, you need to login to the site. If you are a new user, then register using your consumer number and mobile number. Now Login using your User ID, Password and captcha code. Then click 'Login'

Step 5: Enter the necessary details and confirm your booking.

Bharat Gas Booking through SMS:

In order to book gas through SMS, you need to register your mobile number with the Bharat gas agency.

• To register your mobile number, print this form, fill it and submit it to your Bharat LPG distributor.
• For refill booking, send SMS to 7715012345 or 7718012345.

Bharat Gas Booking through IVRS

Bharat gas provides 24 x 7 gas booking service through IVRS at free of cost.

• Local languages, English and Hindi language options are available in this service.
• To book cylinder, dial the IVRS number 77150123457718012345 from your registered mobile number and follow the instructions for refill booking.
• Upon successful booking, you will receive a confirmation message for your order.

Bharat Gas Booking through Mobile App:

Bharat gas offers gas booking and all other gas facilities through the Mobile App "Bharatgas".

• Download 'Bharatgas' app from Google Playstore.
• Install it on your mobile.
• Once you have submitted necessary details, you can access all facilities in the app.

How to apply for a New Connection in HP Gas?

Applying for a new connection in HP gas is so simple with the procedures given below.

Step 1: Visit HP Gas' official site https://www.myhpgas.in/myHPGas/HPGas/LPGservices.aspx

Step 2: On the home page, click 'Register for LPG Connection'

Step 3: Start your registration process by searching your distributor. To find distributor, select location wise and then select your state, district and distributor. Then click 'Next'

Step 4: Complete the KYC process by entering your personal details, contact details, bank details, cylinder details and upload necessary documents and click the declaration checkbox. Then click 'Submit'.

Step 5: After successful submission of your application, you will receive a referral code which can be used to track your application status.

Step 6: On the next page, pay the fees to get new connection. You can pay the fees through Debit card/ Credit card/ Internet banking.

How to book cylinder in HP Gas?

You can book cylinder in HP gas through any one of the following method which fits easy for you.

HP Gas Booking through Quick Book and Pay:

Step 1: Visit HP Gas' official site https://www.myhpgas.in/myHPGas/HPGas/LPGservices.aspx

Step 2: On the home page, click 'Book your Cylinder'

Step 3:On the next page, tap 'Click Here for Quick Book & Pay'

Step 4: You can either make 'Quick Search' or 'Normal search' according to your convenience. To make 'Quick Search', enter your distributor's name and consumer no. To make 'Normal Search', select your state, district, HP gas distributor and enter your consumer number. Enter the captcha code and then tap 'Proceed'

Step 5: You can now book your cylinder and pay the fee.

HP Gas Booking in Online:

Step 1: Visit HP Gas' official site https://www.myhpgas.in/myHPGas/HPGas/LPGservices.aspx

Step 2: On the home page, click 'Book your Cylinder'

Step 3: On the next page, tap 'Click to Book'

Step 4: Complete the login process by entering your mobile number/ Email Id and captcha code. Then click 'Submit'. If you are a new user, then you need to sign up by entering your 17 digit consumer ID and your registered mobile number.

Step 5: Once logged in, select the refill booking option and enter the required details. Then click 'Submit'. You will receive a message upon successful placing of your order.

HP Gas Booking through SMS:

If you lack internet connection, then can easily book cylinder in HP Gas through SMS. In order to send SMS, you need to register your mobile number with the HP gas agency.

• To register your mobile number, send SMS to your State's HP anytime number in the format HP Distributor's Phone number with STD code Consumer Number.
• For refill booking, type HPGAS and send SMS to your State's HP anytime number. You will receive a reply message upon successful confirmation of your order.

HP Gas Booking through IVRS:

To book cylinder in HP Gas through IVRS,

• Make a call to your State's HP IVRS number and select your language.
• If you are an unregistered user, you will be asked to enter your dealer's phone number without STD code.
• Then enter your consumer number.
• Press 1 for refill booking.
• If your booking is successful, the IVRS will dictate your booking reference number.
• Upon successful booking, you will receive a message confirming your order.

HP Gas Booking through Mobile App:

Booking gas in HP gas has become much easier with the introduction of 'HPGas' mobile app.

• Go to Google Playstore and download 'HPGas'
• Install the app on your mobile.
• To activate, enter your distributor code, consumer no and mobile no.
• You will receive the activation code via SMS. Enter that activation code in the app.
• You can now avail all the HP gas services.

What is PAHAL (DBTL) Scheme?

DBTL- Direct Benefit Transfer for LPG Consumer is a scheme in which consumers can get cylinders at full market price and the subsidy amount will get deposited directly into their bank account. To be eligible for this scheme, the consumer must

• Possess his/her Aadhaar card
• Linked his/her Aadhaar with LPG connection
• Linked his/her Aadhaar with bank account.

Customers who fulfill the above mentioned eligibility conditions should submit the PAHAL (DBTL) Scheme Joining form to the LPG distributor in order to get LPG subsidy.

How to link Aadhaar with LPG Connection?

You need to link your gas connection with Aadhaar and bank account in order to avail LPG subsidy offered by our Government.

Offline:

To link Aadhaar with Gas connection in offline,

• Indane gas customers should download, fill and submit the form to their LPG Distributor. Click here to get the form
• Bharat gas customers must print, fill and submit the form to their gas distributor. Click here to get the form
• HP gas customers must download, print, fill and submit this form to their concerned LPG Distributor. Click here to get the form

SMS:

To link Aadhaar with Gas connection via SMS,

• Indane gas Customers should at first register their mobile number by sending SMS to IOC <Consumer number> to the respective State's SMS/ IVRS number. After sending that SMS, send another SMS by typing UID to link Aadhaar with gas connection.
• Bharat gas Customers, in order to register their mobile number, should print this form, fill it and submit it to their Bharat LPG distributor. To link Aadhaar, send an SMS typing UID to 57333 (All India), 52725 (Vodafone, Airtel, MTNL, Idea & Tata users)
• HP gas Customers should send SMS to their State's HP anytime number in the format HP Distributor's Phone number with STD code Consumer Number to register their mobile number. To link Aadhaar, send an SMS typing UID to the same number.

IVRS:

To link Aadhaar with Gas connection via IVRS, dial the IVRS number of your gas company given below and follow the instructions.

• Indane gas customers SMS/ IVRS number.

• Hp gas customers State's HP anytime number

How to link Aadhaar with Bank Account?

Only if you link your Aadhaar with bank account, you can transfer your LPG subsidy to your bank account. To link Aadhaar with bank account,

• You can visit your bank branch and request the bank manager to link your Aadhaar with bank account. (OR)
• Download this Form-1 Bank Account - Aadhaar Linkage Form (For LPG Consumer only), fill it and submit it to your distributor.

How to give up LPG Subsidy?

Customers can give up their LPG subsidy to provide LPG connection to Below Poverty Line family. In order to give up your LPG subsidy, follow the steps given below.

Step 1: Visit the site https://www.givitup.in/

Step 2: Select your gas company logo to give up your subsidy. You can do this process by filling up the form or through SMS/ Online/ App.

Step 3: If you want to give up subsidy via form, click the form to download and submit it in your gas agency. For SMS, type GIVEITUP and send it to your respective gas company's number. To give up your subsidy in online, click 'Online' and enter your username and password or enter your LPG ID.

Step 4: Once selecting any one of the options, complete the steps by entering necessary details.
