Punjab National Bank (PNB) offers online banking service to its customers through which they can access their bank accounts conveniently from anywhere and in anytime. With this net banking service, customers can view their accounts, transfer funds to other accounts, book tickets, pay taxes, etc.,
PNB Net Banking Login and Registration
PNB customers can get the internet banking service by registering themselves with their debit card details.In order to register with this service, go along with the following steps.
- Access to PNB’s official site https://www.netpnb.com
- On the home page, click on ‘Retail Internet Banking’ on the top right corner
- Click on ‘New User’. It will redirect you to the next page where you have to enter your account number and select the type of registration.
- On the next page, select any one type of facility- ‘View Only’ or ‘View and Transaction’. Then click ‘Verify’
- An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. Enter that OTP in the ‘One Time Password’ field.
- After OTP verification, enter your account details/debit card details.
- You can set your password, once the details are confirmed.
- After the completion of these processes, a message will appear that your registration process is successful.
- At once, the users can avail this service.
Registration Via PNB ATMs
PNB customers can register for net banking service by submitting request via PNB ATMs.
Registration through Form no.PNB-1063
PNB customers can get the net banking service by submitting the filled in Form no. PNB-1063 to any PNB branch. To get this form, visit https://www.netpnb.com and in the home page, click ‘Download’ option in the top tab and select ‘Forms’ from the drop-down menu. Then click ‘PNB-1063(retail)’and download it.
How to Reset Password in Online?
- Enter the site https://www.netpnb.com
- Click on ‘Retail Internet Banking’ and enter your user ID. Click ‘Continue’
- Then click on ‘Forgot password’ at the bottom
- On the password reset page, enter your user ID and tap ‘Submit’
- An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. Enter it on the OTP field.
- Then enter your debit card number, linked account number and ATM PIN. Click ‘Continue’
- Set your login and transaction password.
How to Use Internet Banking?
- Visit the site https://www.netpnb.com
- On the retail internet banking section, enter your user ID and click ‘Continue’
- Then enter your password and click ‘Login’
- Select ‘I Agree Terms and Conditions’ checkbox
- An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number which you have to enter it in the required field
- From 50 questions, choose any 7 security questions and click ‘Register’
- Choose one image, enter phrase and then click ‘Submit’
Beneficiary Management
- Log in to the retail banking section using your user ID and password
- Click ‘Transaction’ menu from top tab and then click ‘Manage Beneficiary’ option under ‘Beneficiary Management’
- To add other PNB account, select ‘Add within PNB Payee’
- For NEFT/RTGS/IMPS transaction, select ‘Add Other Bank Payee’
- To add other PNB credit card, select ‘Add Other PNB Credit Card Payee’
- To change the limit of existing payee, select ‘View/Modify Beneficiary Details/Limits’
- To confirm the beneficiary, select ‘Confirm New /Modified Beneficiary’
Transfer of Funds to Own Accounts
- Log in to the retail banking section and go to the ‘Transaction’ menu.
- Click ‘Own Accounts’ option under ‘Transfer to PNB Accounts’
- From the drop down list, select the account numbers to be credited and debited
- Enter the transaction amount and click ‘Continue’
- Enter the transaction password and tap ‘Submit’
Transfer of Funds to Other Accounts within PNB
- Log in to the retail banking section and go to the ‘Transaction’ menu
- Click ‘Other PNB Accounts’ option under ‘Transfer to PNB Accounts’
- From the drop down list, select the account numbers to be credited and debited.
- Enter the transaction amount.
- The transaction date will be the current date by default. For future transaction planning, you can select the date from the calendar.
- For transactions to be made repeatedly with the same amount and beneficiary, you can set the frequency type. Also enter the number of instalments.
- Click ‘Continue’. Enter your transaction password and then tap ‘Submit’
NEFT/RTGS/IMPS Transactions using IFSC Code
- Log in to the retail banking section and go to the ‘Transaction’ menu
- Click any one transaction option NEFT/RTGS/IMPS under ‘Transfer to Other Bank Accounts’
- From the drop down list, select the account numbers to be credited and debited.
- Enter the transaction amount.
- The transaction date will be the current date by default. For future transaction planning, you can select the date from the calendar.
- For transactions to be made repeatedly with the same amount and beneficiary, you can set the frequency type. Also enter the number of instalments.
- Click ‘Continue’. Enter your transaction password and then tap ‘Submit’
IMPS Service using MMID
- Log in to the retail banking section and go to the ‘Transaction’ menu
- Click ‘IMPS using MMID’ option under ‘Transfer to Other Bank Accounts’
- Select the debit account and enter payee’s MMID, mobile number and transaction amount. Click ‘Continue’
- Enter your transaction password and then tap ‘Submit’
Mobile Banking
PNB customers can easily access their accounts with the help of Mobile Banking facility. With this mobile banking service, customers can make transactions and can perform all bank related activities. PNB offers this service to NRI customers also.
How to Register for Mobile Banking?
Registration through Online
Retail net banking users can register for this mobile banking service by logging in to retail banking section. Once logged in, go to ‘Personal Settings’ and then to ‘Other Settings’. Then click on ‘Register for Mobile Banking’.
Registration through Branch
PNB customers can get this mobile banking service by submitting the filled in Form no. PNB-1167 to any PNB branch. To get this form, visit https://www.netpnb.com and in the home page, click ‘Download’ option in the top tab and select ‘Forms’ from the drop-down menu. Then click ‘PNB-1167’and download it.
Registration through ATM
Visit your nearby PNB ATM centre. Swipe the debit card and select ‘Other Services’, then ‘More Services’ and select ‘Mobile Banking Registration’. On other bank ATMs, enter your ATM PIN and then select ‘Mobile Banking Registration’.
How to Reset Password for Mobile Banking in Online?
Debit card holders can reset their passwords in online by visiting the site https://mobile.netpnb.com. Retail net banking users can reset the password by logging in to retail banking section. Once logged in, go to ‘Personal Settings’, then ‘Other Settings’ and then to ‘Reset Password for Mobile Banking’
Services Available in Mobile Banking
- The SMS based service is available via android based app ‘PNB Mobiease’. With this facility, PNB customers can get both financial and non-financial services by sending SMS to 5607040 or 9264092640.
- GPRS browser-based service can be accessed on your mobile via https://mobile.netpnb.com
- App based service called ‘PNB m-banking App’ is available on your mobile at https://mobile.netpnb.com. Android, J2ME, Apple and Blackberry users can get this app from their respective app store.
- NUUP based service can be accessed by dialling *99# or *99*42#. Services available under NUUP based are,

How to Activate ‘PNB m-banking App’?
- Download PNB m-banking app and install on your mobile
- Open the app.
- Click ‘Set MPIN’
- Enter your user ID and click ‘Continue’
- An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number.
- Enter that 6-digit OTP in the required field and click ‘Activate’
- Set 4-digit ‘MPIN’. This will be used to log in the app.
- Re-enter the same MPIN to confirm.
SMS Banking
PNB SMS Banking service is available for customers who have registered for SMS alerts. To register for this service, visit your nearby PNB branch and register your mobile number with the account. By using SMS Banking facility, you can get your account details such as account balance, mini statement, status of cheques etc., You can get the facility by sending an SMS with the keyword of the service you need to 5607040.
